How sad
October 5th, 2008Well, it is really rather sad that what’s prompting me to post right now is someone else’s rude behaviour.
I received the following:

A little googling determines that the surname “David” has used in the past in conjunction with this email address is “Capstick” and that he’s been around on the internet for quite some time, posting queries to Usenet and other places, like the Investor Forums about financial data and physics text books.
Treating people one meets on the internet as sexual objects for one’s own amusement is unacceptable. I am naming and shaming “David Capstick” now and will do the same to anyone else who sends unsolicited sexual requests to me. My respect for standard netiquette doesn’t extend to those who consider me as no more than a tool for their own pleasure.
I make no comment about the nature of his fetish (though I assume the colloquial rather than the strict definition of the term is intended). We all have our own sexual preferences and he’s quite entitled to his fetish about large breasts. The problem is in assuming strangers on the internet will be receptive to unsolicited sexual requests.
For those wondering how he’s got to a specific bra size - I made a public post on LiveJournal a while ago, concerning the prevalence of breast reduction surgery being considered as a ’solution’ for large breasts, before other, less invasive measures (such as appropriately sized bras, physiotherapy for those with back pain and so on) have been considered.
